An Almost Adventure to Africa

I had a plan. Now, I just needed to implement it. Never mind that I was only eight years old and this plan was a hard one to carry out even for an adult, much less a child; I would reach my goal. The Magic Kingdom

When my husband, Chris, and I told my parents we would visit them in February, we discouraged them from making plans to visit Disney World. It isn’t that we don’t like “the happiest place on Earth.” (Well, my husband isn’t a fan but he doesn’t like any theme park because he hates crowds.) Toddler Adventures

“Mommy, let’s go on an adventure today.” Silence “Mommy, I need to go on an adventure. Let’s go.” Recently, my daughter Ginny has been obsessed with the idea of going on an adventure. Every day, it seems, she asks if we are going on an adventure today. She will even pretend to go on an adventure in our house, dragging her little sister with her.
