A Snowy Housewarming

The weather this fall has been beautiful. Cool, but not cold, days followed by chilly evenings. Then, yesterday, it changed. Snow charged in from the west dumping two inches of snow on the ground with a cold front behind it dropping the temperatures fast. Slushy roads turned to ice and not enough salt trucks out to prevent the resulting skids and slips. A Simple Small Birthday Party

I have nightmares when it comes to hosting parties. I fear that no one will show up. The only party I held with confidence was my wedding.  Where does this fear come from? Experience. Simple as that. Sunday Summary: Christmas Edition

It is hard for me to believe that Christmas Day has passed, and we are about to welcome in 2014. Time does move rather quickly. Too quickly at times. This week was no exception. Early in the week my husband and I busied ourselves with preparations for Christmas Day. We had wrapping and cooking to do.
