Party Pizza Bites

I do not like football. I would say hate, but that’s probably too strong a word. I tolerate the game okay. Since I’m married to a man who loves football and the Green Bay Packers, football is now a part of my life.  Despite never being a fan, I do love the Super Bowl. Not the game itself, but rather all the other stuff: the commercials, the half-time show, and the food, the marvelous food. Every year, I love to make lots of tasty appetizers to eat while enjoying the spectacle with my husband Chris. This year will be no

Quick & Easy Stromboli

When I was single, I loved finding recipes that were not only quick and easy but also resulted in left overs. I tended to make one main dish on Sunday and ate the leftovers until they ran out. Then, I might make a small dish or two until Sunday arrived again. One dish I discovered during my single years was a quick and easy stromboli. It took me less than 30 minutes to make and left me with another meal the next night. What could be better than that? Now that I’m married with two girls (and one girl on

Pizza Pasta in the Slow Cooker

Feeding my preschooler, Ginny, is a challenge on a good day. She is very picky and more than willing to go hungry if we don’t feed her what she wants for dinner. I’m also willing to let her go hungry because I’m not a short-order cook. Thank you very much! What drives me nuts is that one day she’ll eat chicken strips or nuggets and love them. A few days later, she will say, “I don’t like chicken, Mommy.” I’ll remind her that she liked it the other day, but there is no convincing her. She’ll reassert with “No, Mommy. I

Pizza Casserole

It is a well-established fact that I love pizza, particularly pepperoni pizza. However, this was not always true of me. Growing up, I couldn’t stand pepperoni. I loved cheese or sausage pizza the best. It wasn’t until high school that my disdain for pepperoni became an issue. At almost every sleep over or party, the pizza of choice was pepperoni. While I wasn’t thrilled, I made do and eventually discovered a love for the spicy meat.  When I saw this recipe for Pizza Casserole a couple of years ago on Pinterest, I knew my family needed to try it. We

Pizza Roll Ups

As I’ve mentioned before, and will likely mention again, I love pizza. I’ve had a love affair with pizza since I was a little girl. So, when I saw a recipe on Pinterest for a pizza appetizer I had to pin it. It looked simple, easy, and delicious.  The recipe, for Crescent Pepperoni Roll-Ups, has been floating around Pinterest for years. It was one of my first pins, but I only recently tried it on Christmas Eve. These pizza roll ups were a HUGE hit with my in-laws. I don’t blame them. It was a flavorful treat. Now, I’m kicking
