This past year I was quite busy cooking and putting out new recipes. Then, I became pregnant with my little Sweet Pea, and the idea of cooking much of anything lost my interest. Heck, the idea of eating still does not appeal. Food looks pretty awful to me most of the time. I love Thanksgiving! I think it is all the fabulous foods that makes the day one of my favorite holidays. This year, we won’t be doing a traditional Thanksgiving. With my husband working that day and my morning sickness, we decided it might be a better idea for me to cook something simple. In just five days, it will be Super Bowl Sunday. While I only follow football to support my Jayhawks (woo hoo! We won 3 games this year!) and my husband’s team the Packers, I’m not what you would call a football fan. In fact, my “Super Bowl” is the Oscars.
