Iowa Travels

Once again, it is Sunday and time for a summary of my week in life and in blogging. My husband took this past week off of work, which has been wonderful. I married him for a reason and love getting extra time with him. However, we were both busy this week. As I mentioned last week, we were in Iowa with my in-laws celebrating Christmas. It was the first time I enjoyed church in a long time. Then, on Tuesday,

Sunday Summary

Today is going to be a crazy one. We are expecting lots of big thunderstorms so I’m a bit on edge. I normally LOVE thunderstorms, but this time the storms seem a bit more scary than usual. I’m ready to dash to the basement with my family on a moment’s notice. As usual, since I am a Weather Widow (i.e., wife to a NWS meteorologist), the weather radio is on. We are prepared. What a way to end a week!  My week has been a combination of amazing and frustrating. My girls have been protesting sleep, at nap times and
